Science & STEM Themed Summer Camp Time: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Meals available for purchase. Each session includes one outdoor field trip. Additional costs will be communicated separately. More than two sessions get 5% off, four sessions get 10% off, and siblings get another 5% off. ------------Schedule------------ MORNING: *Daily Physical Activities: Fitness Training / Kids' Yoga / Shaolin Martial Arts / Soccer / Jump Rope *English Enhancement: Build vocabulary, improve nonfiction reading comprehension, and complete a writing project each week. *Math Skills Boost: Strengthen math foundations and advance learning with a gifted curriculum to enhance problem-solving and calculation abilities. *Second Language Learning; Healthy Snacks AFTERNOON: STEM Creative Lab: Interdisciplinary Exploration and Practice This course integrates STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education with hands-on practice, leading kids to solve real-world problems through interdisciplinary exploration. Through a variety of experiments and creative projects, each child will become a young scientist, engineer, and artist, experiencing the endless possibilities of STEM. ------------Course Overview------------ 1、Introduction to Core STEM Concepts * Learn about the interdisciplinary approach of STEM * Explore the basic principles of science and engineering through experiments * Understand how technology impacts our daily lives 2、Science Experiments & Technological Innovation * Conduct fun chemistry experiments to learn about material transformations * Study circuit principles and create simple electronic devices * Learn basic physics principles and collaborate on physics experiments 3、Engineering Design & Artistic Creation * Participate in structural challenges like bridge or tower design * Apply mechanical principles to create movable hand-made devices * Combine programming and electronic arts to create interactive artworks 4、Interdisciplinary Project Challenges * Choose STEAM themes, such as environmental technology, smart homes, space exploration, etc. * Work in teams to solve problems using knowledge from different disciplines * Present and explain projects, enhancing communication and presentation skills ------------Learning Outcomes------------ * Improve scientific literacy and understand the practical applications of interdisciplinary knowledge * Foster creativity and problem-solving skills * Experience the full engineering design process

Cancellation Policy
1、ELC Summer Camp Cancellation & Refund Policy Camp Cancellation by ELC If ELC cancels the summer camp due to unforeseen circumstances (such as severe weather, safety concerns, insufficient enrollment, or other operational reasons), participants are generally eligible for a full refund. Alternatively, ELC may offer the option to transfer the registration fee to another camp session or apply it toward future programs instead of issuing a refund. Cancellation by Participant Deposit: All deposits are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. Early Cancellation (More than 30 Days Before the Camp Start Date): If a participant cancels at least 30 days before the camp start date, a $100 administrative fee will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded. Late Cancellation (Within 30 Days of Camp Start Date): If a participant cancels within 30 days of the camp start date, a $200 administrative fee will be deducted. Cancellation After Camp Has Started: No refunds will be issued once the camp has begun. Refund Processing Time ELC will process refunds within 10 days of receiving and approving a written cancellation request. 2、Liability Waiver I certify that my child(ren) is/are in good physical condition and does not suffer from any disability that prevents or limits their participation in all activities conducted by undefined. I acknowledge that undefined will not assume any responsibility or liability for personal injury or damages caused by the injury. If undefined is unable to reach a parent, guardian, or any emergency contact, I, at this moment, permit my child(ren) to be transported to the nearest hospital for treatment in case of an accident or emergency. At this moment, I further authorize(s) any staff or employees to provide for, approve and allow health care at the hospital. 3、Photo Release I, at this moment, grant and authorize undefined the right to take, edit, copy, publish, distribute, and use any pictures or video taken of my child(ren) to be used in and for legally promotional materials and digital communications. This authorization shall continue indefinitely unless I otherwise revoke said authorization in writing. I understand and agree that these materials shall become the property of and will not be returned. By submitting your registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy's terms.
